Breast Cancer Awareness Program

How: 

This Breast Cancer Awareness Program was organized to celebrate October month as World Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So in order to celebrate this international theme we organized this program to give awareness to females of our society about the symptoms, way to confirm and how to take care and prevent breast cancer. This Program was organized in collaboration with Lions Club of Bharatpur and Tripureshwor Tole Bikas Samiti as local organization. The chairman of the program was Lion Binay Khatiwada, President, Lions Club of Bharatpur and Chief guest was 2^nd VDG Lion Ghanshyam Bhattarai and Special guest was Leo Rajendra Shrestha, MDP, Leo District Council 325, Nepal. The resource person of the program was Surgeon Dr. Bishwo Ram Poudel.

Beneficiary: 

More than 100 females of that community became aware about Breast Cancer and its symptoms and prevention measures.
