Region Meeting

Region meeting was conducted by the Region Coordinators Leo Kirti Raj Tiwari and Leo Govinda Dhakal. Meeting was focused on the agenda of Zoom International Youth Camp. Meeting was conducted in presence of MDP Leo Rajendra Shrestha, District Treasure Leo Amit Kumar Gupta (Leo District Council 325 B2, Nepal), Jt. Secretary Leo Sujan Pandey, Area Coordinator Leo Sujan Adhikari and presidents of Region 3 and Region 4. 

School Dress Distribution Program

Date: January 29th , 2015

Venue: Bharte-01, Deurali, Lamjung

How: 

Program was conducted with the chairmanship of President Leo Santosh Majakoti and chief guest Santa Adhikari, President, SMC of Shree Indrapuri Primary School, Bharte-01, Lamjung. Bharatpur Leo distributed school dress to all the privileged students of this school with the funds collected from Food Festival accomplishing slogan “तपाईबाट भएको आम्दानी समाज सेवामा गर्छौ लगानी “. There was also a special support from Michael Adhikari for this program.  Program was coordinated by Leo Sunrise Adhikari (Club Treasurer). All the students of the school got readymade dress and it was like an encouragement and motivation to the students of government school of remote area.

Food Festival

Date: January 13th – 16th, 2015

Venue: Narayangarh Buspark, Chitwan

How: On the occasion of Chitwan Mahotsav 2015, Leo Club of Bharatpur Kept a stall in the food festival celebration program of the very Mahotsav. It was a small entrepreneur project of Bharatpur Leo to raise funds to invest in social works with the slogan “तपाईबाट भएको आम्दानी समाज सेवामा गर्छौ लगानी “. We had kept the stall of panipuri and restaurant item. We learnt about the management of a restaurant business, entrepreneurship skills and became able to collect some funds.

Joint Peace March Rally

Venue: Around Narayangarh Area

How: 

Leo Club of Bharatpur coordinated with all the clubs of Chitwan and Nawalparasi for Joint Peache March Rally on the occasion of Chitwan Mahotsav 2071. The public of Chitwan were aware about the presence of Leos in Chitwan and Nawalparasi.

Region Meeting Host

How: Region meeting was hosted by Leo Club of Bharatpur with the chairmanship of Region 3 coordiator Leo Kirti Raj Tiwari with master of ceremony Region 4 coordinator Leo Govinda Dhakal.  Various agendas were discussed about make 2nd Council Meeting a grand success.

Leo Picnic

Date: January 3rd, 2015

Venue: Sano Gadi, Chitwan

How: 

Leo Club of Bharatpur celebrated Leo Picnic along with presidents of different clubs of Chitwan and Nawalparasi, Region Coordinator, District advisor, Area Coordinator, Lions and other dignitaries. 

All the leo members enjoyed the picnic together with fun and created a good fellowship and brotherhood.

Leo Day Celebration with Brotherhood

Venue: Alive Hospital & Trauma Centre, Chitwan

How:

On International Leo Day 2014 Leo Club of Bharatpur made a caring visti to Alive Hospital where Leo Nimesh Lopchan was admitted since 1 month as he was seriously injured in bike accident. We always used to celebrated Leo Day together with all leo memebers and this time because of his accident he was missed in every program and with the strong bond of brotherhood we could not forget him on this special day. So the core team of Leo Club of Bharatpur went to visit him with some special items of food to make him feel special as a leo member.

It feels really great that the bond of leo is important and counts more even if we don’t have blood relationship and makes us feel special every moments.

Closing Ceremony of Leo Week

Date: 10th December, 2014

Venue: Family Juction Cafe, Gaindakot

How:

Closing ceremony was conducted along with club appreciation program as felicitated by Leo Santosh Majakoti to different 7 clubs who jointly celebrated the Leo Week 2014. Program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Rabin Rimal, President, Leo Club of Gaindakoit Maulakalika and Leo Susmita Baral, President, Leo Club of Patihani. Chief guest of the program was 2nd VDG, District 325 B2 Nepal, Lion Ghanshyam Bhattarai, special guest MDP, District 325 Nepal, Leo Rajendra Shrestha and other Lions and Leo Dignitaries.

More than 100 leos of Chitwan and Nawalparasi jointly celebrated closing ceremony with entertainments and together dinner. Also there was performance of various local and national artists.

Personal Cleanliness & Oral Hygiene Awareness Program

Date: 9th December, 2014

Venue: Geetanagar, Chitwan

How:

Program was conducted at Shree Sidheshwar Primary School of Geetanagar. The school children were taught about the personal cleanliness and oral hygiene practices by the resource persons from Leo viz. Leo Sunil Kharel (student BDS), Leo Jyoti Dhakal (nurse), Pukar Kharel (student, BDS). Program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Arjun Poudel, President, Leo Club of Geetanagar in presence of other social workers and the chief guest of the program was MDP, Leo District 325 Nepal, Leo Rajendra Shrestha.

The students of the school were privileged with  a packet of brush, soap, nail cutter, toothpaste each.

Stationery Distribution Program

Date: 8th December, 2014

Venue: Shree Ram Janaki Ashram, Devghat, Chitwan

How:

We made stationery distribution program to the orphan children of the Aashram.  The program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Mahadeep Shrestha, President, Leo Club of Narayangarh Diyalo and chief guest was MDP, 325 Nepal, Leo Rajendra Shrestha.

Orphan Children of the aashram were privileged with stationery materials.

Clothes Distribution Program

Date: 7th December, 2014

Venue: Kathar, Chitwan

How:

We collected the clothes from various sources including new and used clothes and distributed them to the needy people at sukumbasi tole of Kathar. Most of the people to receive the clothes were bote, majhi and mushahar. Chief guest was MDP, 325 Nepal, Leo Rajendra Shrestha and program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Rajaram Sitaula, President, Leo Club of Narayangarh Balkumari.

Needy people of that place got warm clothes for winter.

Friendly Football Match

Date: 6th December, 2014

Venue: Birendra Campus Ground, Bharatpur

How:

It was a friendly match between Leo Club members and Media representative. Leo members representatives from different 7 clubs and media representatives of Chitwan and Nawalparasi under Nepal Sports Journalist Forum played this match. The chief guest of the program was MDP, 325 Nepal, Leo Rajendra Shrestha and special guest was Hari Prasad Pokhrel, President, Nepal Journalist Federation, Chitwan. Program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Safal Regmi, President, Leo Club of Narayangarh Chitrawan.

A good brotherhood and fellowship was developed between leos and journalists.

Candle Lighting Program

Date: 5th December, 2014

Venue: Chaubiskoti, Bharatpur

How:

Candle Lighting Program was organized to celebrated International Leo Day. We representatives of 7 different clubs gathered at venue and wrote Leo Day with candles and lighted them. Public who were walking by there were informed and made aware about the International Leo Day 2014. Chief guest of the program was MDP, Leo District 325, Nepal Leo Rajendra Shrestha. Program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Mahadeep Shrestha, President. Leo Club of Narayangarh Diyalo.

It was a cheerful moment to celebrated Leo Day lighting candles resembling letters. The whole street glittered with the lights casted by candles resembling Leo Day.

Unite for Service

Date: 5th December, 2014

Venue: Shreepur, Fulbari, Chitwan

How:

Food, Clothes, sports materials distribution program was organized to celebrate International Leo Day 2014. The program was organized targeting the disabled children of the school under the District President’s theme Unite For Service. On this, occasion 7 afore mentioned clubs together made food contribution to those mentally disabled children of Schools for Mentally Disabled Children. Chief Guest, MDP, Leo District 325, Nepal Leo Rajendra Shrestha made on spot contribution of Rs.2000 to that school for the good management of those children. Program was conducted under the chairmanship of Leo Santosh Majakoti, President, Leo Club of Bharatpur.

It was a benifit to those children and we all the leo members were blessed to see the smile on the faces of those children due to our contribution for them.

Leo week celebration opening ceremony

How:

7 different Leo Clubs of Chitwan and Nawalparasi for jointly celebration of Leo Week 2014, organized Opening Ceremony of Leo Week. The program was coordinated by Leo Club of Bharatpur with coordination of Leo Week coordinator Leo Santosh Majakoti. Program was organized with the gracious presence of MDP, Leo District 325 Nepal, Leo Rajendra Shrestha as chief guest and other district board members under the chairmanship of Leo Santosh Majakoti, President, Leo Club of Bharatpur. Following were the 7 clubs who celebrated the Leo Week together:
