Jointly Organic Agri-Farming Training

Date: 29^th  November, 2014

Venue: Gardi, Madi, Chitwan

How: 

Leo Club of Bharatpur jointly with Krishak Yekata Mul Samiti Gardi conducted a day Organic Agri-Farming Training to the emerging farmers of Madi. As there were 25 farmers group, 2 farmer from each group was invited and program was conducted between a total of 50 leading farmers of Madi. They were taught about hot to make organic fertilizer – Jholmol along with other organic farming farming practices. They were taught to make jholmol practically during the training. The resource person for the program were Dr. Matrika Jamarkattel, Lecturer, Rampur Campus and Mr. Kedar Devkota, Teacher, Nepal Polytechnic Institute and Leo Dreesti Wasti, student, Nepal Polytechnic Institute.

Beneficiary: 

Farmers were very happy to learn about the practices of Organic Farming.

Jointly Autism Orientation, Interaction and Training Program

Date: 23rd November, 2014

Venue: Bharatpur Municipality Building

How: 

Leo Club of Bharatpur jointly with Autism Care Nepal Society conducted Autism Orientation, Interaction and Training Program for providing information about autism together with how to care autism children. The resource persons of this program were the representatives of Autism Care Nepal Society where as chief guest along with chief resource person was famous comedy actor Mr. Santosh Panta who is also the goodwill ambasador of Autism Care Nepal Society. Parents and teachers from various schools of Chitwan and Nawalparasi were the participants in this program along with representatives from different social organization based for Children welfare.

Beneficiary: 

The program became a grand success with almost 92 Teachers and Parents participants from different schools of Chitwan and Nawalparasi who became aware about autism and how to care autism children.

Club Welcome to DP and VDP

Venue: Friendz Cafe & Restaurant

How: 

During the club visit program by District President Leo Sudip Koirala and Vice district president Leo Bishnu Shrestha along with Region one coordinator Leo Tara Guragain, Leo Club of Bharatpur conducted welcome program for the leo leaders. On the program there was participation of Region Coordinator of Region 3 & 4 Leo Kirti Raj Tiwari and Leo Govinda Dhakal respectively.

Beneficiary: 

Various agendas and future plans of Leo Club of Bhratpur with District Council for coordination were discussed with DP and VP.

Jointly Welcome to DP and VDP

Venue: Thakali Vancha Cottage & Restaurant, Bharatpur

How: 

During the club visit program by District President Leo Sudip Koirala and Vice district president Leo Bishnu Shrestha along with Region one coordinator Leo Tara Guragain, all the leo clubs of Chitwan and Nawalparasi jointly conducted welcome program for the leo leaders.

Beneficiary: 

All the clubs Presidents presented the club report during the program.

Jointly Stationery and Sports Materials Distribution

Date: 20th November, 2014

Venue: Kabilash-09, Dhodeni, Chitwan

How: 

On the occasion of World Children Day Leo Club of Bharatpur jointly with Lions Club of Bharatpur distributed stationery and sports materials to students at Rastriye Prathamik Bidhyalaye of Dhodeni. For this program RC Leo Kirti Raj Tiwari made special contribution on occassion of his daughters’ birthday. The program was indeed satisfying as those needy children of remote area got the sports and stationery material that will be enough for their studies for at least 12 months.

Beneficiary: 

Needy students of the school got the stationery materials which they have been seeking since months for their effective study.

Jointly Diabetes Check up and Awareness Camp

Date: 14^th  November, 2014

Venue: Krishnanagar, Madi, Chitwan

How: 

To celebrated November as World Diabetes Awareness Month Leo Club of Bharatpur jointly with Lions Club of Bharatpur and Lions Club of Chitwan Green conducted free Diabetes Check up and Awareness Camp. The program was a huge success with the check up of more than 100 individuals who came for the check up from various corners of Madi. We heartily thankful to Clinic Nepal and Dr. Rabindra Singh Thakuri and Dr. Ruth Echle for their special support.

Beneficiary: 

More than 200 individuals were provided with free checkup, medicine and information about diabetes.

Joint Meeting

Venue: The Lost Paradise Hotel, Rajhar, Nawalparasi

How:  

With the concept of RC Leo Kirti Raj Tiwari, Leo Club of Bharatpur has been escorting Leo Club of Nawalparasi Nawalpur since few months. And on this very process, we had a joint meeting with them for discussing about various joint program.

Beneficiary: 

Leo Club of Nawalparasi Nawalpur learnt the meeting conduction process with the guidance of Leo Club of Bharatpur.

Birthday Celebration at Orphanage

Date: 3^rd November, 2014

Venue: Shree Ram Janaki Balika Aashram, Devghat

How: 

On the special occasion of the first birthday of Miss Arushi Tiwari- daughter of RC(IPP, Bharatpur Leo) Leo Kirti Raj Tiwari , Leo Club of Bharatpur celebrated her birthday with together lunch with kids of the balika ashram. It was indeed a great moment to celebrate the birthday of daughter of our Region Coordinator by providing food and having lunch together with those children. We were blessed with the togetherness with them even for a short time.

Beneficiary: Birthday celebration became a blessed moment along with service to those children. We were satisfied with the smile on their face.
